Caring and Professional
Dr. Rubenstein and her staff are great. I moved here from NJ and they made sure the paperwork transfer from my previous vet was seamless besides providing excellent treatment for my 4 dogs. Very happy with this vet practice.
Dr. Rubenstein is a brilliant vet and a skilled surgeon who also provides for the emotional needs of the pet. If a pet is nervous, she she calms and befriends them. She takes the time to fully explain medical issues and treatment options, and she truly has the best interest of the animals at heart. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Rubenstein and her wonderful staff for all the exceptional care they've provided our boy over the years.
Her team is equally awesome and personable - Steve, Adam, Tim - all so amazing, patient, thoughtful and kind.
The staff were great with my dog and the vet was very knowledgeable. They made my dog and my family very comfortable as we said goodbye to our family member.
I
Had to take my daughter's cat in to have it euthanized. Staff was sensitive and caring - both to me and to the cat. A difficult decision and process made easier by them
Even in the most trying emotional situations, there is a warmth at Jockey Hollow Vet you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Dr. Rubenstein and her team are the absolute best. There is a love and compassion amongst them which I consider to be the gold standard of veterinary care. They provide a personal touch that makes all the difference in the world. You won't just get a clinical diagnosis and meds and be on your way. You will get a warm, comforting smile from Dr. Jennie and a personal walkthrough of her medical assessment and your treatment options.
If I had noticed this "review" option before, I would have written this years ago! When our dog was four years old we noticed a growth in his mouth. The vet that we had been using said it was nothing to worry about, but we decided to get a second opinion. We took the dog to Dr. Rubenstein at Jockey Hollow. She took one look at the growth, identified it a melanoma and took a biopsy. It was malignant. Usually dogs with malignant melanoma only live about 4 to 6 months. Dr. Rubenstein operated to remove the tumor and a week later she operated again to "widen the margins" and ensure the area was cancer-free . Our dog is now almost nine years old and a healthy hound! Were it not for Dr. Rubenstein we would have lost him years ago.
